Amplifying transport best practice and optimal outcomes

PTAANZ collaborates with our members to fulfill our purpose to inspire curious minds, cultivate relationships and champion the future of sustainable mobility in Australia and New Zealand.

Through our events and strategic initiatives, PTAANZ gives our members and the broader transport industry opportunities to combine their expertise to amplify best practice and envisage the best possible transport outcomes for the region.

Connected Choices Strategic Plan

Through Connected Choices, PTAANZ will engage the sector and develop content to inform the achievement of the best possible transport outcomes in Australia and New Zealand.

The PTAANZ Board of Directors identified Customer Experience, Mode Shift and Decarbonisation as the top three industry priorities that our members, who represent different transport modes and a variety of professional disciplines, can collectively champion.

Insights from our Connected Choices strategy will inform how PTAANZ curates events and engages with its members and industry stakeholders.

Three Industry Priorities

Vision: Australia and New Zealand to have world-leading public transport systems that deliver optimal economic, social and environmental benefits. Transport will be sustainable, efficient, reliable and provide an excellent customer experience.

“Connected Choices” means transport users will have a range of appealing and viable options to travel sustainably when and where they need to go, using a combination of traditional mass transit services as well as active and new mobility options.

Mission: Amplify good practice, success stories and collective expertise (local and global) on public transport CX, Mode Shift and Decarbonisation.

To result in uplift across the sector:

  • curious minds become even more capable practitioners
  • new relationships deliver novel outcomes that work
  • the future we are championing influences policy and investment.

Connected Choices Committees

PTAANZ has established three committees of subject matter experts from our Premier and Gold members, to harness their collective expertise to deliver optimal CX, Mode Shift and Decarbonisation outcomes in transport.
