Member Working Groups
Our advocacy and research agenda is shaped by members through a series of specialist working groups led by the Policy Impact and Research Committee, which reports directly to the PTAANZ Board.
These groups bring together industry experts from across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand to explore key challenges, share insights and help inform the Association’s policy, research and thought leadership activities.
Current Working Groups
Customer Experience Working Group
Focused on building public confidence in transport networks and improving the customer experience to support safe, reliable and efficient journeys.
Mode Shift Working Group
Focused on increasing the use of public transport, walking and cycling by making sustainable travel options more attractive, accessible and convenient for communities.
Decarbonisation Working Group
Focused on reducing transport emissions and supporting the transition to more sustainable, climate-resilient transport systems.
Zero Emissions Bus Working Group
A public sector roundtable that facilitates collaboration, knowledge sharing and practical discussion to support the transition to zero-emission bus fleets.
As our Connected Choices agenda evolves, additional working groups and committees may be established to address emerging priorities and member interests.
